Die Performance im Rahmen des Project Space Festival beschäftigt sich spielerisch und experimentell mit der Verbindung von Projektionen und zeitgenössischer Projektarbeit. Beide Begriffe, die Projektion und das Projekt, beziehen sich darauf, dass etwas “nach vorne” geworfen, gerichtet oder verlängert wird.
Die Ankündigung eines Projektes kommt nach einem Vorschlag. Der Projektvorschlag ist meistens nicht öffentlich und versucht ein ein scharfes Bild des noch nicht realisierten Projekts zu zeichnen, mit dem alle Beteiligten überzeugt werden sollen, zur Umsetzung beizutragen. Die Ankündigung hingegen ist etwas öffentliches, wie dieser Text hier. Die Ankündigung zeichnet ein unscharfes Bild, das bei potenziellen Besucher*innen genug Interesse wecken soll, um sie für die öffentliche Projektpräsentation zu gewinnen, ohne jedoch zu viel über die eigentliche Art der Präsentation vorwegzunehmen.
Im Projektraum SCOTTY wird eine mobile Projektionswurfmaschine und ein mehrstimmiges Orga-Orchester das chaotische Präsentationsframework für Projektlogiken bilden. Als Arbeitsform ist das Projekt ein weit verbreitetes Modell: Kunstprojekt, Forschungsprojekt, Wohnprojekt, Politisches Projekt, soziales Projekt, IT Porjekt, usw. Was macht diese Art des Arbeitens in einer Projektökonomie mit den Arbeiter*innen darin? Welche Form hat etwas, das immer im Werden ist und kaum ist es da, ist sie auch schon wieder vorbei? Und wann ist da eigentlich der Akku leer?

The performance in the framework of the Project Space Festival playfully and experimentally deals with the connection between projections and contemporary project work. Both terms, projection and project, refer to something being „thrown forward,“ directed or extended.
The announcement of a project comes after its proposal. The project proposal is usually not public and tries to paint a sharp picture of the project that has not yet been realized, with the aim of convincing all stakeholders to contribute to its realization. The announcement, on the other hand, is something public, like this text here. The announcement paints a blurry picture that is intended to attract enough interest from potential visitors to make them visit to the public presentation of the project, but without anticipating too much about the actual nature of the presentation.
In the project space SCOTTY, a mobile projection throwing machine and a polyphonic orga-orchestra will form the chaotic presentation framework for Projektlogiken. As a form of work, the project is a widely used model: art project, research project, housing project, political project, social project, IT project, etc. What does this way of working in a project economy do to the workers in it?
